TAMARA LANDES

I have been volunteering with Reaching the Hungry as Children’s Director since 2019. It is an amazing ministry with a long history of serving and doing God's Will in Malawi, Africa, Costa Rica, the Philippines, Mexico, and now Thailand. 

God has given me a lifelong passion to serve children and families, whether next door or around the world. With Reaching the Hungry, I help lead the team as we 

  • Share the Gospel and serve some of the most vulnerable communities.
  • Prepare and lead children’s outreaches and conferences for children’s leaders and pastors.
  • Encourage and equip ministry leaders as they serve their local communities.


2025 MISSION OUTREACH

MEXICO: May 31, Aug 9-10, and Nov 9
Our team is traveling to Colina de Luz orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. We will work on projects and lead activities, sports, and games to bless the children. 

THAILAND: June 11-20
Our team of 13 is traveling to Thailand to serve with our missionaries there, sharing the Gospel through: 

  • The Jesus Film
  • Activities at 3 elementary schools
  • Soccer and university student outreaches
  • Reading glasses clinics
  • Shepherd Leadership and Discipleship Training

MALAWI: October 5-17
We will be traveling to Malawi, Africa, one of the poorest countries in the world. We will serve alongside the Malawi team as we:

  • Participate in village outreaches to children and provide women’s health training
  • Install water wells, providing safe, clean drinking water in the remote villages
  • Show the Jesus film and share the Gospel
  • Visit an orphanage and host reading glasses clinics
  • Provide Shepherd Leadership and Discipleship training


As I prepare for these trips...
I'm asking God to prepare my heart for everything He has in store. I look forward to seeing God do incredible things on this trip.
