I am asking God to prepare my heart for everything He has in store — specifically that I serve Him faithfully, that my commitment deepens, and that He reveals himself to those I meet. As many of you know my personal journey has been shifting the past few years and God has been pulling on my heart to follow Him in ways that may have been outside my comfort zone. One of my favorite passages comes from Matthew 22:37-39... "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

I'd like to do just that, but I have two great needs. The first is for prayer. There is so much power in prayer and when you advance the kingdom of God like Reaching the Hungry does, there is a very real enemy that moves in opposition to it. Every ministry faces resistance when moving toward the will of God. Knowing this, I ask that you pray for me, the entire trip team, and that God would move powerfully among the people so that thousands would come to know Jesus through this trip. In Costa Rica, we will be serving alongside our partner Pastor Christopher Arista of Calvary Chapel Palabra Viva. We will be hosting a sports outreach, a women's conference, and an all-church BBQ, as well as teaching a class on Shepherd Leadership, leading children's ministry, completing construction projects, sharing our faith, and much more. 

My second need is for financial support. Will you please pray about partnering with me?
